Finding the Perfect Father's Day Gift

Jewelry Jealousy What should you get your dad for Father's Day? That's always a tricky question this time of year. To determine the perfect gift this year, think about the man behind the dad; consider his personality, lifestyle, and interests. What kind of Dad do you have?
Maybe your dad is a businessman always catching a train, or a busy lawyer with tons of meetings. Maybe he's an honest man who just needs to hit the package store before closing time. Either way, keep your dad on schedule with a watch accessory. Treat him to a new, high-quality watch band for his existing watch. (To determine the size band, measure his existing watch band in millimeters at its widest point-- where the band meets the face of the watch). Available in leather, lizard, gold, silver, stainless steel, and more, a watch band can give your dad's favorite watch a much-needed upgrade while retaining its integrity. If he has a pocket watch, ensure punctuality with a watch chain.
2. The Outdoorsy Dad
Maybe your father steers clear of the fast lane, filling his time with hiking and homemade hummus. Maybe he taught you how to make a compost heap when you were little, showed you how to plant tomatoes, and/or forced you on more than one family camping trip as a child. A lover of the natural world, this dad may need a gentle reminder to keep in touch with civilization. Help him do so with a rugged water-resistant watch band, or rugged Swiss Army style watch band. Both are stylish but low maintenance options for the trailblazing dad.
If your father is obsessed with football, delight him during the off-season this Father's Day with an official NFL team ring. Bearing the logo of his favorite football team, these rings are licensed by the NFL. The pictured style of ring is currently available for any NFL team, but our supply is limited, because these rings are no longer manufactured! Act fast to ensure the proper ring size remains in stock. These rings are increasingly rare sports collectibles.
4. The Hip Dad
Is your dad cooler than you are? Maybe he taught you to appreciate vinyl records at a young age, drowning out your interest in Sesame Street
singalongs with 1960's rock operas. Maybe he's still recovering from attending the original Woodstock, or has more than one tattoo that he won't discuss. If so, your rad dad deserves a token of your love, however misguided you consider him to me. He'd surely enjoy a vintage piece to remind him of his youth. As individual as he is, gift ideas include a set of collar bars or a tie clip made back in the 1960s, a classy German-made pen, or even a men's bracelet.
5. The 007 Dad
By contrast, consider the following about your father: does he stay cool in a crisis, have fine taste in suits, and sip imported cognac? A man of the world with tastes to match, this dad is a class act. Also known as The Dad Who Watches Too Many Spy Films, you've got a 007 Dad on your hands (even if he drives a station wagon instead of an Aston Martin.)
Consider a gift that indulges his love of formalwear and intrigue this Father's Day, such as a set of dapper cufflinks or a money clip. He'll look every bit the mystery-man he
plays in his mind, and appreciate that you noticed his carefully understated elegance.
6. The Just "Dad" Dad
If you can't define your father based on any of the above stereotypes, he's probably just "Dad." Far from ordinary, this Dad has loved and supported you since birth. Over the years, he's taken a genuine interest in you for who you are, and guided you through all your mistakes growing up. This is a guy who once learned to braid your hair just in case your mom was too busy in the morning, or helped you build a tree-fort in 2nd grade. If you have a dad that you can truly call "Dad", you're among the luckiest of all. He will love anything you get him for Father's Day, even if it's just a handmade card and a hug.
But he probably likes the idea of James Bond cufflinks, too. Trust us.
