For Whom the (School) Bell Tolls: Jewelry for Teachers

It's never too early to think about Back-to-School fashion, especially if you're a teacher.  Enjoy the rest of your summer (you've earned it!), and rest easy with these suggestions for classroom-friendly jewelry.

Apple themed jewelry is a classic accessory for a teacher, bearing the symbolic fruit of the educator.  This modest apple brooch expresses a message without being cliche.

After a relaxing summer, a simple beaded necklace is perfect for late summer/early fall.  Try a demure strand of glass faux pearls to add to your look.

We're not suggesting you treat the hallway like a fashion runway (though that would be awesome!)--- but it lifts the mood to look good at work.  It's all about adding interest to your work clothes with a carefully chosen accessory.

An interesting glass beaded necklace and earrings set is the perfect accent to a solid colored blouse or sweater.

Your noble profession is one that puts you at center stage.  So before summer's over, teach yourself to accessorize, and feel confident in front of your new pupils.

Don't be afraid of a splash of color-- as Salvador Dali once remarked, "The difference between false memories and true ones is the same as for jewels: it is always the false ones that look the most real, the most brilliant."  By showing your true colors this fall with costume jewelry, you inspire your students to show theirs as well.

I love the pearls. They seem to be the right length and the size is perfect. Thanks
for showing them and reminding us all that pearls always make a fashion state-ment whatever the occasion.
